If you have been following along my recent updates to my monthly themed Math Mat sets you will be excited to see the February Math Centers Updated version.  There are 10 new center games and activities to celebrate #alltheFebruaryholidays.  I wanted to show you a few of the goodies that are now included. If you already own them you get the updates for free! Don’t yet have them but want an inside look?

Groundhog What comes Next?

[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][us_separator height=”40px” size=”custom”][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/2″][vc_column_text]In this center students will grab a groundhog strip and look at the number he is holding. They will then write the next 3 numbers in order. Simply laminate and provide a dry erase marker, they can keep track of the numbers worked on by using the response sheet.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/2″][us_image image=”6683″ align=”center”][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][us_separator height=”40px” size=”custom”][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner][vc_column_text]

Numbers on a number line

[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][us_separator height=”40px” size=”custom”][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/2″][us_image image=”6682″ align=”center”][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/2″][vc_column_text]Next up is practice using a number line. This center features a dental health theme. Students will need to determine what number is under the tooth.! They can track their work on the response sheet.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner][us_separator height=”40px” size=”custom”][vc_column_text]

Addition Puzzles

[/vc_column_text][us_separator height=”40px” size=”custom”][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/2″][vc_column_text]These sweet treat themed addition puzzles are a great way to practice those addition skills. Students can pick a small sum and find the addition sentence that matches. Response sheet is included![/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/2″][us_image image=”6686″ align=”center”][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][us_separator height=”40px” size=”custom”][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/2″][vc_column_text]

Number bonds using a 10 frame!

You can use snap cubes, erasers, foam hearts so many different manipulatives can be used with this set of practice pages. 

These are just some of the updates to the February Math Centers and I am working on March’s set right now. It is my goal to ensure you have enough differentiated practice activities to last the entire month.
